Write Ups

Students face forward at all times unless called upon.  Inside the cubicle is the daily schedule and assignment guidelines. They are permitted to see the teacher's one at a time for help.

The student cubicle is 2 1/2 ft. x 4 ft. x 5 ft.

Successful Day:  Any day in which a student has not violated any rule contained in the Floresville Alternative Center Discipline Plan and was not absent.

Unsuccessful Day:  Any day in which a student has accumulated one or more Minor Rule violations.  This day must be “made up” by the student achieving a subsequent successful day.  An unsuccessful day will be recorded for a student when he/she violates any of the following minor rules:

Write ups are determined by the monitor, teacher or any staff member.

3 days Student is referred to Behavioral Counselor
5 days Written Warning Notice mailed to child/parent
10 days Parent conference with principal or designee
* One half original assignment Maybe recommended for expulsion/removal
