Vision
During the past year, the Floresville ISD, Floresville Economic Development Corporation, Stockdale ISD, Alamo Community College District, Congressman Henry Cuellar, Alamo Worksource Commission, and other organizations met with the goal of creating a state-of-the-art technology and early college center that could be funded by a consortium of public and private entities to maximize tax payer dollars. The vision of this collaborative is to realize a higher level of achievement in the areas of post-secondary education and work skills through the offering of college credit and career enhancing training to stimulate economic growth.

To achieve the goal of creating a state-of-the-art technology and early college center, the committee outlined 5 objectives:

Objective 1:

Create a facility designed to accommodate many types of training and instructional demands.

Objective 2:

Create a facility designed to provide optimal usage for the community and school.

Objective 3:

Create a consortium of public and private entities to maximize available funds.

Objective 4:

Create a facility that provides opportunities to develop a skilled workforce that will stimulate economic growth.

Objective 5:

Provide opportunities for students and community to take courses that will be relevant to their college career objectives and enhance post-secondary success.
