Third Grade Program: Inventions Rock Our World

On Tuesday, May 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Elementary Servatorium, the third grade performed a program about inventions and inventors. Out of 260 third graders, about 200 were at the program. With all the parents and staff, it was standing room only.

We sang songs about the wheel, paper and the printing press, the steam engine, radio and television, Thomas Edison, and computers. The music teacher, Mrs. Katherine Johns, taught all the music and movements and directed the show. Third grade teachers, Mrs. Sara Garcia and Mrs. Lori Sears were the narrators. We would like to thank Ms. Jean Evelyn Hughes, our assistant principal, for all her support.
