Floresville United Methodist Church
by Tommy V.

The Methodist church in Floresville was formed about the same time that the town of Floresville was, in 1871.  The town of Floresville was surveyed and laid out in July of 1873.  In 1875, a traveling salesman named W.C. Agee settled in the new town.  He was a leader in establishing the Methodist church in Floresville. Since those days, the Floresville United Methodist Church has been an important part of Floresville and Wilson County history 125 years.
