Guest Readers at the Library
(See more Guest Readers from the link below!)

We've started a wonderful new program at the FES library.  Various community members will be participating as guest readers during 3rd and 4th grade story time.  These readings will take place every Friday throughout the school year.
Our first guest reader, on August 31, was Officer Chad Clark.  In addition to his job as a local police officer, Mr. Clark is a proud parent and a school board member!

Office Clark read from the book
Grunt, The Primitive Cave Boy
, written and illustrated by Timothy Bush. (Crown Publishers, New York, NY, 1995)

Here's a short movie clip from the reading!

On Friday, September 7th, our superintendent of schools, Craig Stockstill was our guest reader.  He let the 3rd grade classes choose which book they wanted to hear.  They chose a book titled Enemy Pie by Derek Munson, illustrated by Tara Calahan King, Chronicle Books, San Francisco, 2000.
