Junior Historians of Floresville High is sponsored by Ms. Tambria Read. The club, which meets every second Wednesday of each month during all lunches in Ms. Read's room, is very active in learning about local, state, and family histories.  Please see either Ms. Tambria Read or Meagan Calhoun if you are interested in becoming a member of the Floresville Junior Historians.

Some of the main activities of the club include:

• Working at the archeological digs at Rancho de las Cabras.
• Archeology day at Mission San Jose.
• The 20th Annual AACOG Pony Express event in December.
• Prompting and learning about local, state and family histories.
• Assisting in the planning of the Wilson County News Sesquential.
• Interviewing for oral histories.
• Video taping about local history.
• Spring 2009 events to be announced.
• Pictures of Summer 2008 events coming soon.
