CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN for ART LAB, ROOM 305

GUIDESLINES

  1. Follow the FISD Handbook
  2. Clean-up at the assigned time
  3. Talking is an EARNED PRIVILEDGE
  4. Respect the rights of yourself & others
  5. All work must have your name & class

*2-D projects…back upper right corner

*3-D projects…on the bottom

6. Graded & Returned Art Projects MUST

BE TAKEN HOME

 

 

 

 

 

 

PROCEDURES

  1. Upon entering the Art Lab secure your supplies and go to your assigned seat…
    1. complete the focus assignment
    2. work on your ongoing project
    3. if your work is complete look on the chalkboard for the reflection or new assignment
  2. When the teacher raises one hand; all talking and work will STOP….
    1. each student will also raise one hand
    2. talking will cease during group

      instruction & announcements

    3. you may talk in a non-recognizable

CONSEQUENCES

  1. Warning
  2. Loss of talking privilege
  3. Isolation
  4. Parent contact
  5. Severe Clause (defying authority, fighting, threats, profanity, contraband, stealing)

    students will go to the appropriate principal

  6. -10 points for not writing your name & class on your work

REWARDS

  1. Successful, safe, & enjoyable learning environment
  2. Talking privilege
  3. Good phone call, e-mail, or letter to parents/guardian
  4. Changing assigned seating (with teacher approval only!)
