Everything in our world is a type of matter. All matter has mass. Matter exists in various states. Matter can change. What do these statements mean? The following websites will help you understand matter. After you visit each web site, you will need to do the following: 

*      Define matter and  mass,

*      List the characteristics of three of the states of matter: solids, liquids, and gases.

*      Discuss how matter can change from one state to another. 

*      Be able to categorize objects by their state of matter using Kidspiration.
