GRADUATE COURSES: Exploring Texas Environments, Integrated Physics, Integrated Chemistry, NASA GeoSpace, Evolution, Multi Cultural Studies, Individual Differences, Applied Learning, Classroom Assessment, Research Methods, Integrated GLOBE for Science, Mathematics, and Technology, and Curriculum Development.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Strands available include: Technology/Calculators, Technology and Instruction, GLOBE/Environmental, S/M/T Primary, S/M/T Intermediate, Geology/Space, Secondary Math, and IPC.
TEACHERS AS MENTORS: Program funded by the National Science Foundation, which pairs Induction teachers with Master Teachers in an effort to improve retention and renewal. This program is currently funded for five years and offers Mentor teachers a stipend of up to $3,000 per year, a chance to attend state and national conferences, technology, and professional development training as well as access to workshops, training, and materials such as GEMS, AIMS, LINX, FOSS and more. Certification is also available for professional development.
SEDL ACCESS LIBRARY: Resources and equipment sponsored by SEDL, which are made available to teachers for classroom and workshop presentations. Materials are available for checkout and in some cases are donated to teachers for workshop presentations.
