About Mr. Ray: Tom is a graduate of Floresville High School. He is a rancher and a local business owner.  Tom and his wife Pamela have three children:  a daughter Kelsey, and two sons, Carter , and Mason.

 Reason for being a board member: 
As a lifetime member of this community, I feel a strong obligation to foster quality education—not only for my children, but for all children. 

Knowing that education is the path for our FISD students to achieve a prosperous life, I strive to contribute to wise decision making to promote effective change. 

 Community/civic involvement: 
Member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church in San Antonio
Founding President of Wilson County Taxpayer Association
Vice President of the Appraisal Board.
