Floresville ISD is a rapidly growing district with a current enrollment of 3557 students.  The District has sustained a continued growth over the past decade and is the largest school district in Wilson County.

In 1996 the Floresville Elementary School campus was opened.  Our commitment to quality educational services for our community is evident with facility advancements such as computer labs, a computer-automated library, a media center, music areas, science lab, art room and full size cafeteria and gymnasium.

In August 2001, the Floresville ISD passed an $18.6 million dollar bond issue.  To date the District has built a new 170,000 square foot middle school campus, a new high school gymnasium with a 1400 seat capacity and  expanded our early childhood campus with additional classrooms and library, and will be relocating and expanding our alternative school campus in the near future.

Floresville ISD continues to serve all students needs and has closed the achievement gap between student sub-populations.  AYP and State requirements are met and the District’s current dropout rate is .4%.

We are in the forefront with technology, new and advanced facilities and a highly qualified faculty.
