Dual Credit for 11th and 12th grade
                        Take the 24hour Challenge from Palo Alto
Steps for Dual Credit 
Take the Accuplacer/ASSET test at Floresville High School or with Palo Alto in the spring.  Dates will be announced and posted on FHS Counselor’s Corner webpage at http://www.fisd.us/high/counselorcorner/index.htm 
Complete the college application through Apply Texas (www.applytexas.org)  A copy of the final confirmation page must be turned in to either Mrs. Sawers or Mrs. Wegman
Once approved for class, turn in course request to Mrs. Sawers or Mrs. Wegman
Indicate dual credit course on the High School schedule request sheet
Sign parent consent form from Palo Alto and/or San Antonio College

Freshman Comp I & II (1301 & 1302)
US History (1301 & 1302)
Economics (2301)
 Government (2305)
Intro to Psychology (2301)
Intro to Sociology (1301)
Intro to Accounting (1303)
 Intro to Computer Applications (Pofi 1301)
Welding (Mr. Rogers)
Career Prep (Mrs. Rogers)
Students will also have the opportunity after their Junior year to take summer classes.
Each class is worth 3 credit hours of college. Students are able to take 2 courses per semester for free. Additional classes may be taken, students would be responsible for the tuition.  Day and evening classes are held in district. 
Dual credit with FISD and Palo Alto can save a student an estimated:
        $648 for 6 credit hours of classes per semester or
        $1296 for 12 credit hours per year or
        $2592 after 2 years with 24 credit hours at graduation
Plus additional savings with FISD providing location for classes and covering the cost of text books.
