Text Box:         To: All Parents From: Floresville ISD Athletic Department Re: Staph Infection   Due to the increase in cases of staph infection within our athletes, the athletic department is doing the following: · Spraying down of all lockers, locker rooms, walls, doors, floors, showers and restrooms. This has been done in every area of our field house, including weight room and training room. · All of our players have been instructed to the effect and consequences of staph. Hygiene both at school and at home has been stressed. · Players have been instructed to launder their clothes daily. · All players have been instructed to go to the training room to cover all scratches, scrapes and cuts prior to practice or games. · Players are encourages to shower after workouts, practice and games. If your son/daughter reports to you any pimple like sore, please consult your personal physician immediately.
