1.  Late work Most of the time students will have 2 days to complete an assignment without penalty. Work turned in early will earn 5 bonus points.  If an assignment is not turned in on the due date, it is late. An assignment 1 day late will receive a grade not to exceed 90.  An assignment 2 days late will receive a grade not to exceed 80. An assignment 3 days late will receive a grade not to exceed 70. Any assignment more than 10 days late will receive a grade not to exceed 50. Assignments more than 15 days late will receive a zero.

2.  Quality Work – Shows all calculations, is done in pencil, is legible, and is numbered correctly.  I will not accept it if it is less than quality work.

3.  Heading – Make sure it has all of the following information:

Name

Class              In the upper right hand corner

Date

** Also put the assignment title on the first line. **

4.       Corrections – Students will be allowed to correct any daily assignment which has been turned in by the due date if it received a grade less than a 75. Late work may be corrected but will not receive a grade higher than a 70. Students will receive only one opportunity to correct each assignment. The corrections will be done on a separate sheet of paper in pencil and attached to the original.  Appropriate work must be shown for all problems that must be corrected.  Multiple choice worksheets must include work that justifies the answer choice.  Teachers may choose to give an alternate assignment instead.
