A special thanks to everyone who helped with this trip.  Mr. Reile sold pickles and called everyone in the state to make sure that all went well. He gathered the money paid the right people and gave some interesting lectures to the kids. Mr. Reile is the organizer and the brains of the Science Club.  Mr. Crews planned and advised us on how to make arrangements and plans.   Mr. Crewes also planned and cooked the meals. He  was our inspiration to keep going when the planning got hectic. Mr. Billy and Mike Wall drove the bus and helped with everything.  They helped a lot with setting up camp and information that is not in any book.   Mr. Havalah was our doctor and helped with the trails and was just plain helpful.  Mrs. Conn helped with the supervision of the girls and boys and let me sleep!  Mr. Grumbles helped with the trails and supervision of the students, and he gave some interesting history lectures.  Mr. Lanoux gave many wonderful lectures about geology and one real good one on "don't mess with Texas" (pick up your trash).  Mrs. Porter helped a little with everything, but we all realize that without her backing as principal we would never have gotten this trip off the ground.  I also would like to thank the Floresville School Board and Mr. Robinson the Superintendent for their support.

I would also like to thank Peggy Carnahan and Scott Walker at Our Lady of the Lake University.  Peggy is the Paleontology teacher who took me to Big Bend for the first time.  Scott is the  Technology person who has been patient enough to try to teach me webpage design.
