Floresville Academic Scholarship Fund

                    Deadline for money is April 28 this year with scholarships awarded May 12 at the awards ceremony rather than graduation.

Floresville Academic Scholarship Fund was established in September, 1994 with the first scholarships given in May of 1995 to honor academic excellence.
Recipients are selected according to the following criteria:

1. ACT test scores received by April 28.
2. Maintaining A/B honor roll for 2 of the 3 nine-week grading periods during the senior year.
3. Certification by school officials of a clear school disciplinary record.
4. Certification of law enforcement liaison of no criminal record.

The deadline for contributions to the Academic Scholarship Fund for this year is April 28, 2008.  

 We have given 114 scholarships--a total of $95,000--since 1996.  Contributions, memorials, and honorariums are welcome.  Address is:

Donations are accepted throughout the year Applications can be picked up at the Floresville High School Counselor's Office.  Deadline for receipt of money to go towards this year's scholarships is May 1, 2009.
