My name is Judy L. Fleming and I am in my 20th year of education, 18 of which have been in Floresville. I have taught 19 years in 2nd grade and 1 year in 1st grade. I graduated from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota, with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, I obtained a teaching position with Harlingen School District at Dishman Elementary. In 1990, I moved to Floresville where I met my husband, Tom Fleming. We have been married for 12 years and have two wonderful children, Charles, age 10, and Donna, age 8. We are very active with our children in many school activities and active members of United Methodist Church in Floresville. My most significant contribution and accomplishment in education is my ability to teach all children at their level. The best gifts I receive back from my career in education are visits from past students that have grown into wonderful young men and women. We do not know how we touch children until later in life.
