March Students of the Month

March Female Student of the Month

Danielle Hawn is the 18-year-old daughter of Jamie and Dennis Hawn. She is in the top quartile of her graduating class with a 97 overall grade point average.

Danielle is very active at FHS taking all advanced classes including dual credit. She is a four-year member of the Mighty Tiger Band and has been the drum major for the past two years. Danielle has been a cheerleader all four years of high school and an Athletic Trainer for three years. She is also an active member of the National Honor  Society.

Outside of school, Danielle represents Floresville as a princess on the Peanut Festival Court and has participated with Warrior Athletics United All-Star Cheerleading. She has been recognized for perfect attendance for the past three years and been on the A/B Honor Roll throughout high school. Danielle volunteers with the NHS Blood Drive and creates cards for area nursing homes. Additionally, she works concession stands for various sporting events and has coached a youth cheer team. 

Danielle plans to attend Abilene Christian University where she intends to major in Kinesiology and Pre-Physical Therapy.  Her top strengths are Futuristic, Positivity, Competition, Consistency and Developer.

March Male Student of the Month

BJ Reed is the 17-year-old son of Shannon and Ben Reed. He is ranked in the top quarter of his graduating class with an overall 4.0 GPA.

BJ has been an active member of the Mighty Tiger Band for the past four years; he has served as the TEC chairman for two years. He is also on the varsity baseball team and represents FHS at various UIL Academic meets participating on the Social Studies and Current Issues & Events teams. BJ is also an active member of the National Honor Society and Link Crew.

In addition to his advanced coursework and school activities, BJ volunteers with the Salvation Army and his church. He has been on the All A-Honor Roll and received the Perfect Attendance Award, the Algebra 1 subject award and the Dual Credit U.S. History subject award.

BJ plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin where he intends to major in Political Science with a pre-law advisory track. His top strengths are Context, Competition. Harmony, Communication and Futuristic.
