Every 10 years, the Board of Trustees must review census information to assess population growth or decline as well as other demographic changes. Texas Education Code sections 11.052 and 11.053 require school districts to redivide single-member districts if the most populous single-member district exceeds the population of the least populous district by more than 10%.
The document below contains current single-member districts, 2020 census information and two plans for required redistricting. The Board of Trustees will adopt one of the outlined plans at their meeting on March 7, 2022.
