In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) was signed into law, funding the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) for school districts across America. As this is the third law providing funding in response to the pandemic, the ARP is also referred to as ARP ESSER III or ESSER III.|
ESSER III Overview
The initial ESSER III allocation for Floresville ISD is $3,496,597. These funds must be used to address learning loss and other responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to receive these funds, FISD must submit an application by July 27, 2021, and meet the following requirements:
From May 17 - June 13, 2021, Floresville ISD sought feedback from its stakeholders to identify priorities for the use of ESSER III funds. Below is a compilation of that feedback.
