What You’ll Need

Please have the following documents ready:

• Child’s Birth Certificate

• Child’s Social Security Card

• Parent/Guardian ID

• Child’s Immunization Record

• Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.)

Income Verification (if applying for free Pre-K):

• Most recent month of pay stubs or

• W-2 or 1040

If applicable:

• Foster Care documentation

• Active Military documentation

• TANF or SNAP documentation

• Proof of Insurance (Medicaid, CHIP, or private insurance)

How to Enroll

Step 1: Complete the 2026-2027 Headstart Application

**Please note - To register for the 2025 - 2026 school year, please use the 2026-2027 Headstart Application link above

Under Location Preference:

• Which program are you applying for = Floresville

• 1st Location Preference = Floresville Early Childhood

Step 2: Fill out the FISD Online Forms

1. Login to your Skyward account (If you do NOT have a Skyward account, create one here)

2. Click the pull-down arrow next to the home icon and select "New Student Enrollment".

3. Click on the tile labeled "2026 - 2027 PRE-K FORMS" to begin enrolling your Pre-K child.

Step 3: Contact the Early Childhood Campus to Schedule a Time to Drop Off Documents

Please contact the Early Childhood Campus at 830-393-5305 or email us at enrollfecc@fisd.us to schedule a time to come by and drop off the required documents and see the facility. You may also come by for help with any part of the application process.
