Michael “Mike” Schroller serves as Superintendent of Floresville ISD, bringing a lifelong connection to the district and more than two decades of experience serving its students and families.

A 1992 graduate of Floresville High School, Mr. Schroller has served FISD as a teacher, coach, campus administrator, and district administrator. Before becoming superintendent, he served as Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Student Services. His experience includes leadership at every campus level, district operations, student services, facilities planning, and safety and security.

Mr. Schroller was selected as superintendent on October 26, 2026. His priorities include supporting student achievement, listening to employees and families, and maintaining open communication with the community.

Listening and Learning

During his first weeks as superintendent, Mr. Schroller will visit campuses and departments to hear directly from the people who learn and work in FISD each day. Families and community members will also have opportunities to share what is working well and where the district can improve.

Updates will be shared on this page as he gathers feedback, identifies priorities, and works with district staff and the Board of Trustees on next steps.
