TODAY: FISD is NOW ENROLLING new students for the 2025-2026 school year! Join us this Thursday, April 3, for in-person enrollment for grades Pre-K through 12. Visit fisd.us/page/new-student-enrollment for more!

As we approach our upcoming testing days, we want to emphasize the importance of attendance for all students. It is crucial that your child is present on the day their grade level is scheduled to test.
Please ensure that laptops are fully charged along with chargers brought to school on testing days. This will help facilitate a smooth testing experience for everyone involved.
To set your student up for success, we recommend the following best practices:
Ensure they get a good night's sleep before the testing day.
Provide a hearty breakfast to fuel their minds and bodies.
Thank you for your support in helping our students perform their best!

TODAY: Join us for our parent presentation at the FMS Cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. and learn about the risks associated with online gaming/apps and how to keep kids safe. We hope to see you there!

FMS Scholastic Book Fair
March 18 - 28, 2025

This week the FMS Bands attended their UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluation!🎼🎺
✨ Bands are rated by a panel of judges from 1st to 5th division, with a 1st division being the highest distinction a band can achieve. Bands must perform a concert of three pieces for their stage portion and then perform a piece completely unknown to them in their sight-reading portion after only studying it for a few minutes.
⭐The FMS Concert Band received a 2nd division on their stage performance and a 1st in their sight-reading performance!
⭐The FMS Symphonic Band received a 1st division in both their stage and sight-reading performances!
⭐The FMS Wind Ensemble received unanimous 1st division ratings from every judge for their concert and sight-reading performances!
These students have worked incredibly hard to maintain this tradition of excellence, and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work! #TogetherWeThrive #FISDGreatKids
